The Cricklade Cake House began as a passion project during the challenging days of the COVID-19 pandemic. My name is Mel, and baking has always been my heart and soul. What started as a way to bring joy to my family and friends blossomed into something much bigger. With food delivery drivers being classed as key workers, I began delivering freshly baked cakes around Cricklade, offering a little sweetness and comfort to people’s homes when it was needed most.
 

The response was overwhelming, and before long, my cakes became a local favorite in Cricklade and the neighboring towns. In 2023, I took the next exciting step and opened The Cricklade Cake House on the town’s High Street.Today, The Cricklade Cake House is a warm, welcoming space where locals and visitors alike can indulge in their favorite baked treats.  We proudly feature bread from Pete's Micro Bakery and coffee from Coffee Gems Artisan Coffee Roasters, making it the perfect spot to enjoy a sweet treat, fresh bread, and a perfectly brewed cup of coffee.
